Mold Setter Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up injection molds and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing techniques and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up and adjust molds for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production cycle to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues with machinery or molds.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the fabrication of components as required, utilizing knowledge of plastics injection processes.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects to management.
Qualifications
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in mold setting is advantageous.
- Previous experience in warehouse settings or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies within the industry.
