What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler 1 position at G&H Diversified Manufacturing LP?
In accordance with company policies and procedures, the Yellow Jacket assembler provides value within the fast-paced environment of G&H Diversified Mfg., LP (G&H) by supporting the assembly shop process - assembling products in compliance with the company and customer standards.
CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Safely prepare, assemble and repair various types of oilfield products.
2. Clean components and visually inspect for any defects.
3. Package and label products as required.
4. Use air hose, brushes, brooms, rags and other related cleaning tools to maintain a clean work station.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
NON-SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to stand, walk and/or move for 6-12 hours per day
2. Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
Requirements:1. Assembly experience in an industrial, warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus – particularly the oilfield industry
2. Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is preferred, but not required
3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Must be available to work overtime and at least 1 Sat./Sun. per week.
5. Reliable transportation to and from work
Salary : $16 - $20
