QC Inspector (Level 1)

The Level 1 Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the specified quality standards set by G&H Diversified Manufacturing. This role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Inspect Raw Materials: Examine incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Monitor Production: Oversee production stages to uphold consistent quality standards.
• Conduct Tests: Perform durability, functionality, and safety tests on products using standardized methods.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found.
• Communicate Defects: Report identified defects to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Verify Compliance: Ensure products meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Improve Processes: Propose improvements to the production process to enhance product quality.

• Basic knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with the production team.
