We are hiring a full-time Warehouse/Box Truck Driver to work in our warehouse or drive the box truck when deliveries are needed to be made. The job can stem anywhere from 70/30 driving/warehouse. To the inverse, 30/70 driving/warehouse. Not every day is the same split of warehouse/driving. Some days one is more than the other. The ideal candidate will be able to work a full week with a mix of warehouse/driving duties. We have a 26ft box truck and a pickup truck you would be driving if making a delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- DOT Medical Card/Ability to get DOT Medical Card
- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse work, whatever needs to be done (picking orders, help with fabrication)
- Forklift operation (training can be done in warehouse)
- Ability to load your truck
- Pick orders for delivieries or customer pickups in warehouse
- Unload truck at destination
- Engaging with the customer/receivers as you are representing our company
- Deal with changing weather conditions and road conditions.
- Load trucks according to weather and shipment requirements.
Breaks:
- 2 each - 15 minute paid breaks, 10:00 am to 10:15 am. 2:30 pm to 2:45 pm. When in the warehouse.
- 30 minute lunch
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
