Position Summary:
AN Instrumentation Engineer will size, specify and select process instrumentation,
assist in the preparation of P&ID's, prepare Instrument Indexes, and perform DCS/PLC configuration with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. PE Required, SIS Certifications is a plus
Experience: 5 years of experience in project-based engineering role

Key Responsibilities:
- Specifying instruments for various plant environments
- Read and help develop P&IDs
- Produce control narratives and Cause & Effect Diagrams
- Suggest best use technology for application
- Check Instrument packages
- Coach/Mentor entry level engineers
- Interface with Clients, Vendors, and Project Managers
- Understanding of Safety Systems
- Develop FEED Packages for estimating
- Estimate discipline hours
- Driving design packages
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. PE Required, SIS Certifications is a plus
Experience: 5 years of experience in project-based engineering role
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Instrument Calculation programs, and Bluebeam
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of typical instrument design package and workflow required to complete design
- Ability to obtain OSHA, TWIC, and site-specific safety training
- Able to travel to worksite in and out of state. Out of state travel is typically less than 10%.
- Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office setting. The role may require occasional travel to field sites.
- Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
