We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director, 3PL Operations to join our team and lead our third-party logistics operations in alignment with our strategic business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, distribution operations, and 3PL partnerships, with a proven track record of managing relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving operational improvements.
This role requires a dynamic leader who can foster strong relationships between 3PL providers and internal stakeholders, drive operational excellence, and maintain a forward-looking operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate effectively with 3PL providers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current 3PL operations to identify areas of improvement.
- Serve as the escalation point for resolving operational issues with 3PL partners.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the use of 3PLs.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent and efficient communication between 3PL providers and internal stakeholders.
