Transportation Analyst
(Tuesday through Friday 9AM to 5PM and Saturday 7AM to 3PM)
Position Summary
To serve our internal and external customers within our Command Center to oversee trucking lanes, ensure the safety of routes and standards in order to provide timely, accurate deliveries while consulting with senior management on methods to improve overall system efficiency to increase company sales and profits.
Essential Functions
Monitor and report on Geobox, Express, OTR and Service Tech/Install Teams routes to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
Analyzes existing routes and determines current and future plans to increase efficiency to meet customer needs; works with location Sales Operations, Warehouse and On-Premise leaders to develop and execute route plans based on safety, service times and business demands
Oversees utilization of routing/planning software to ensure consistent adoption by users and maximum system functionality.
Monitors and provides real-time information on delivery delays, route deviations, Chilled Juice temps, driver safety. Communicates with location leaders on changes to daily routes or potential missed deliveries.
Maintains an in-depth understanding of the routing process to provide support and/or assistance when required.
Maintains and reports out on metric scorecards, KPI analysis, SOPs and feedback, reporting to senior leaders when required.
Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g. OSHA, DOT and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws).
Maintains confidentiality of financial information, customer information, employee information (e.g. discipline, wage information), and other sensitive and confidential information.
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Maintain a knowledge base in Warehouse Supply Chain and OTR guidelines
Education Level
Must have experience in Beverage Delivery/Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, Sales or related field. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business management, Logistics, Sales or related field strongly preferred.
Experience
Must have 3-5 years of previous beverage management, supply chain experience and 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience.
Computer Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, generally technology adoption and RTS Logistics.
