Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to oversee and manage all construction activities at our job sites. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on site.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents and perform quality control.
- Document daily activities and coordinate inspections.
- Address and resolve construction risks with architects and engineers.
- Manage onsite employees and subcontractors, enforcing policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) measures.
- Maintain good relationships with stakeholders and provide input during progress meetings.
- Supervise the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Enforce safety requirements at the jobsite.
Skills:
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in quality control and compliance.
- Excellent documentation and risk management abilities.
- Effective relationship management with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or 4 years’ experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Comfortable working in a medical construction environment.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification and CPR Certified.
- Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) experience & training is a plus.
- Federal construction experience is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel to job sites and meetings.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, and occasionally carrying objects up to 60 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $141,750.00 per year
