We are seeking a professional driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include client interaction, preparation of special requests and client preferences, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions, regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, listening and understanding the needs of each client for future service.
Ultimately, you will be an ambassador of hospitality, creating a loyal base of clientele by delivering on a promise of excellent service that begins with luxury transportation services.
To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
G.Lion Hawaii will provide vehicles for drivers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Transportation of clients while demonstrating G.Lion Corporation and G.Lion Hawaii values
- Client interaction
- Communication and preparation of client arrivals, planning process, special requests via coordinator (Local/Japan)
- Ensure itinerary, information, materials, tickets are presented and/or distributed to client/G.Lion team
- Coordination with partner hotels, venues, tours, and experiences to ensure readiness
- Coordinate scheduling for optimal coverage of availability for on-call partner hotel service
- Loading and off-loading of client luggage, materials, products
- Anticipate and solve on-site technical, creative, and timeline issues to create a streamlined experience
- Engage, educate, promote, and sell/represent G.Lion brands and/or product(s) to consumers through natural conversation
- Communicate status, timelines, and post-service reporting to maintain satisfaction
- Make creative and thoughtful moments to surprise and delight clientele
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
- Ensure car fleet is clean and comfortable for all riders
- Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
- Skills/Competencies:
- Bilingual. Fluent in Japanese (speaking) is required
- Proven experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Good knowledge of Hawaii geographically
- A high school diploma
