Actividades que se requiere hacer son las siguientes:
- Plan and Manage Shipments: Coordinate and schedule the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Track Shipments: Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are on time and address any delays or issues.
- Communicate with Clients and Vendors: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and transportation providers, addressing concerns and updating stakeholders on shipment status.
- Prepare Shipping Documentation: Handle all required paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documents for international shipments.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Teams: Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure goods are properly packaged, labeled, and dispatched.
- Optimize Logistics Processes: Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in shipping and distribution.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all shipping activities comply with legal regulations and company policies, including health and safety standards.
- Resolve Transportation Issues: Address and resolve any issues with delayed shipments, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries.
- Manage Inventory Levels: Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishments to ensure sufficient product availability.
- Negotiate Freight Rates: Work with carriers to negotiate the best possible shipping rates for the company.
- Analyze Logistics Data: Use data to evaluate and improve performance, forecast future needs, and optimize shipping routes.
- Coordinate Returns and Exchanges: Handle the logistics of product returns and exchanges, ensuring proper documentation and efficient processing.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all shipping and receiving activities, including costs, delivery times, and inventory data.
