Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our hospitality team at a prestigious hotel. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dining area, banquet facilities, and kitchens. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans, and ensure they are properly stored and maintained.
- Operate commercial dishwashers and wash equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist in the preparation of food by washing and peeling fruits and vegetables, as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, banquet facilities, and kitchens by sweeping, mopping, and dusting floors, and wiping down tables and chairs.
- Support the food service team by delivering food and supplies, bussing tables, and taking out the trash.
- Adhere to food handling and preparation guidelines to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with culinary and hospitality practices, including food preparation and serving.
- Experience with commercial dishwashers and food handling equipment.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
