We are looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed.
Job Description:
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of our company’s operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily/weekly moving jobs, managing a team of movers and drivers, and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. Your role will be crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction, administering inventory management, and resolving any customer service issues that arise. Additionally, you will supervise employee schedules and oversee fleet reporting and management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage daily operations of the moving company.
· Coordinate and schedule moving jobs to ensure timely and efficient service.
· Manage and lead a team of movers and drivers, providing guidance and support.
· Hire movers and drivers as needed to meet business demands.
· Ensure the safe transportation of goods and adherence to safety regulations.
· Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
· Administer inventory management to ensure accurate tracking and availability of supplies.
· Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally.
· Oversee fleet reporting and management, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and operational.
· Supervise employee schedules to optimize workflow and productivity.
· Occasionally assist on moving jobs to ensure successful completion.
· Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships and track job progress.
· Use Microsoft Office for reporting, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in operations management, preferably in the moving or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
