Position Overview:
The Quality and Training Manager is responsible for ensuring all floor staff is properly trained. The QTM also directly manages the Quality assurance team. The QTM will also oversee overall quality at all points in production. He or She will own the claim and reorder process working to ensure that they are shipped out in a timely manner. The QTM will also be responsible for tracking claim data and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Train new associates on plant operation, and required safety
• Deliver rush order paperwork to floor each day to start processing
• Develop tracking for internal rejections from QC to track builder accuracy
• Provide reporting daily on internal and external quality results
• Provide reporting daily on internal and external quality results
• Deliver a claim percentage below 1.5 each month (monthly bonus under 1%)
• Assist in plant operations as needed
• Work with plant manager and production manager to improve quality processes throughout the plant
• Train existing associates on new positions in the plant
• Directly manage the quality control team
• Assist with production planning when necessary
• Answer help tickets on order updates
Required Attributes:
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• Must be able to use and navigate through microsoft office

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
