Position Overview:
De Silva Brothers & Company is seeking a QC and Inventory Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring product quality, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the seamless operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing data efficiently while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control:
- Review, inspect, and document the quality of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Ensure that all products meet company standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the QC team to identify and resolve discrepancies or defects.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks and report any issues to management.
- Inventory Management:
- Input, update, and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Track inventory levels and flag discrepancies for further investigation.
- Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, expiration dates, and usage trends.
- Assist in regular inventory audits and reconcile physical counts with digital records.
- Administrative Duties:
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure data accuracy across departments.
- Provide real-time updates on inventory and QC status to relevant teams.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory data management standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in supply chain, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Bilingual: Spanish
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in data entry, inventory management, or quality control, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, or similar quality standards is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with warehouse and QC teams.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Conduct inspections in warehouse environments as needed.
