Position Summary
G&P Technology Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to support warehouse operations at the VA’s Denver Logistics Center. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient day-to-day execution of receiving, staging, storage, and distribution activities in support of federal supply chain operations. The Site Supervisor will lead a shift-based team of Material Coordinators and ensure contract performance targets, safety protocols, and process integrity are consistently met.
This position requires a proactive, hands-on leader with experience in federal logistics environments, excellent organizational skills, and a working knowledge of VA or government warehousing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage warehouse personnel on assigned shift, including scheduling, task assignments, coaching, and performance oversight
Ensure accurate execution of material handling tasks per SOPs including receiving, putaway, staging, shipping, and inventory reconciliation
Monitor shift performance against VA performance standards and contract KPIs
Support daily safety checks, MHE inspections, and compliance with OSHA and VA safety policies
Maintain training records, timekeeping logs, and documentation of certifications for all shift personnel
Collaborate with the Program Manager and VA staff to resolve any operational issues or service disruptions
Participate in internal audits, cycle counts, and QA improvement efforts
Respond promptly to on-site incidents and maintain escalation protocols
Minimum Qualifications
5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
Familiarity with VA, DoD, or federal warehousing operations preferred
Working knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE), warehouse safety standards, and inventory tracking systems
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred; forklift or PIT certification a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse documentation tools (e.g., SharePoint, iAuditor)
Ability to pass Tier 1 (NACI) federal background investigation
Military experience or experience in union-sensitive environments is highly valued
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, on-site role Monday through Friday with rotating shift availability
Salary range: $90,000–$95,000 based on experience
