G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover and Abbottstown, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. Our Mixer Operators are reliable team members responsible for
- Weighing ingredients and following the recipe batches for pretzel baking
- Place measured ingredients in industrial mixer and initiate mixing
- Using utensils, trim dough and place on conveyor belt
- Wash / Sanitize production equipment and utensils
- Monitor dough extruder
- Complete quality testing and paperwork required for the production function
Required Skills:
- Previous food manufacturing and measuring of industrial-size batches required
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach
- Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
Shift Times:
- 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm
- 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am
