G-Spec Logistics LLC, Volga, SD, needs 4 temporary (04 / 01 / 25 - 12 / 31 / 25) and full-time Truck Drivers to haul agricultural supplies or commodities to various locations in the following South Dakota counties : Brookings, Spink, Roberts, Clark, Day, Deuel, Kingsbury, Grant, Hamlin, Codington, Hand, Beadle, Jerauld, Sanborn, Miner, Lake, Moody, Aurora, Davison, Hanson, Hutchison, Yankton and Clay; the following Minnesota counties : Big Stone, Lac Qui Parle, Yellow Medicine, Lincoln, Lyon, Pipestone, Murray, Cottonwood, Redwood, Rock, Nobles, Renville and Chippewa; and the following county of Iowa : Lyon. Complete pre-trip inspection to trucks and trailers. Clean soiled lights, windows, mirrors and reflective tape; add oil and other engine fluid as needed. Load trucks. Truck agricultural supplies such as seed and fertilizer to local farming operations utilizing CDL Class trucks. Truck agricultural commodities and products from farm storage or production facilities to local markets, sales and processing facilities. Unload trucks. Return truck to starting point. Perform post trip inspection of truck and trailers at end of the day and submit end of shift paperwork. Must have 6 months experience. No education requirements. Must have a Class A CDL drivers license within 30-days of hire. Clean driving record required. OJT provided. $27.37p / h, overtime wage rate of $41.06, overtime including weekend work may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 35h / w, 6am-4pm, Mon-Fri. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers paychecks that are required by law. The employer will provide optional housing accommodations from a third-party if relocating for the position and not within reasonable transport to jobsite. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted approximately $250 per week plus utilities. A company vehicle may also be used for personal use by the workers for a payroll deduction if requested. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expenses by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $15.88 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $59.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the jobsite. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees that are to the benefit of the employer. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period.
