Job Description
We are looking for seasoned Seatbelt Program manager, who has experience in all aspects for the development in a Tier 1 supplier. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Serve as primary contact point with customer for all development activities
Develop detailed program execution plan based on given program milestones
Lead, organize and manage internal meeting to oversee program progress
Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Work with global team, Willingness to work outside of normal working hour to support global teams
Oversee & monitor launching activities at plant, support OEM audit to meet the expectations
Support setting up new manufacturing facility in Mexico
Support manufacturing activities (plants and suppliers) to ensure the product meets design intent
Support resolution of quality issue, Teardown activities (8D, 5 Phase, Fishbone analysis)
Lead Ford system engagement (WERS, FEDE, Teamcenter)
Participate / support new business pursuit
Support VAVE activities
Requirements :
5 year experience as a program manager at a Tier 1 with Ford programs, Seatbelt experience is preferred.
Experience in product engineering and / or plant engineering is plus
Must have Ford systems (WERS, FEDE) experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Have good organization skills and meeting skills
Understanding on PLM (Teamcenter) & CAD system (CATIA, NX) is a plus
Bi-lingual - English and Spanish preferred : written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding on APQP processes
Proficiency in MS office products
Willingness to travel as needed (Aprx. 20%)
Ability to maintain confidentiality on products, services, and processes
BS in Engineering
Willingness to interact in multi-cultural working environments
