Director of Learning and Development
As the Director of Learning and Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a dynamic and innovative learning environment that aligns with the organization’s global goals. You will lead a talented team in designing and implementing comprehensive training strategies focused on both technical and leadership development, ultimately enhancing employee performance and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
Craft and execute a global learning and development strategy that supports the company’s objectives and culture.
Initiate and lead the development of cutting-edge learning programs that boost employee engagement, retention, and performance.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify critical learning priorities that align with strategic goals.Program Development and Training Delivery :Oversee the creation and rollout of global training initiatives, including leadership programs, technical skills enhancement, and compliance training.
Employ diverse training techniques, including in-person workshops, online courses, blended learning, and on-the-job training.Ensure programs are culturally relevant and accessible to a worldwide, diverse workforce.Leverage advanced learning technologies and methodologies to improve program delivery, including using a Learning Management System (LMS).Integrate engaging training methods like simulations, gamification, and virtual reality.Performance Measurement and Improvement :Conduct assessments to determine skill gaps and identify training needs.
Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning programs.Analyze data to detect trends, measure ROI, and drive continuous improvement in learning initiatives.Provide reports on learning outcomes and progress to senior leadership.Global Coordination and Collaboration :Partner with regional HR leaders and business units to ensure consistent rollout and implementation of learning programs.
Establish robust relationships with external partners, such as training vendors and consultants, to boost program offerings.Team Management :Guide and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, fostering professional growth and development advancements.
Encourage a culture of continuous learning within the team and the organization.Compliance and Best Practices :Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory training requirements across various regions.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in learning and development.Regularly review and refresh training materials to keep them relevant and effective.Promote a culture of lifelong learning within the organization.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).At least 10 years of experience in learning and development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.Proven success in designing and implementing global learning strategies and programs.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Expertise in learning management systems (LMS), E-learning platforms, and other educational technologies.Experience in facilitation for diverse audiences from 10 to 300.Willingness to travel internationally as required.Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Learning and Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).Experience with digital transformation and the incorporation of new learning technologies.Core Competencies :

The typical pay range is $128,700 - $170,500 annually, dependent on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for our Quarterly Incentive Pay Program.
