Job Description:
G&W Electric is a global leader in engineered electrical power grid solutions. We are seeking an experienced Power Distribution Automation Expert to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced automation solutions for power distribution systems, focusing on relay integration and logic programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy customized distribution automation solutions.
- Provide expert technical support to customers, including training, troubleshooting, and maintenance services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7 years of experience in engineering design, development, and/or automation.
- Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems, symmetrical components, load flow, and overcurrent protection functions.
- Experience with relay integration and logic programming for SEL, ABB, Hitachi, Siemens, and GE relays.
- Familiarity with communication standards, fiber optic cable selection, radio communication, cellular communication, and antenna selection.
