Description
A Van Keppel diesel mechanic is expected to provide exceptional customer service to our clients by performing service and repairs both in the shop and in the field. Must either have a Class B Commercial Driver License or be willing to obtain one with the Company's assistance. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing, background checks and DOT physical.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational Training or 2 years of experience performing heavy machinery mechanical services (Volvo, Roadtec, Bornag Etnyre, brands preferred)
- 2 years of hydraulic, electrical and heavy construction equipment experience
- Proficiency using heavy machinery diagnostics equipment
- Must have own set of tools
- Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Possessing or obtaining Class B CDL license within first 60 days of employment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
