G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Baggage Service Agent (BSO) Operations in Kahului Airport (OGG) .
Title : Baggage Service Agent
Pay Rate : $16.00 per hour
Shift : Vary
The BSO Agent meets and greets arriving passengers in the claim area and provides assistance and information to individuals meeting arriving passengers. Determine service needs of customers, assisting with all baggage issues, including lost articles, lost, damaged, and stolen luggage .
What does a BSO Agent do ?
- Make baggage arrival announcements when customers arrive in the claim area, providing information and instructions. Log each flight as bags are delivered to the claim area. Updates records with later arriving bag information
- Monitor the delivery of baggage and handle irregularities associated with the internal baggage process
- Initiates BMAS files for lost, damaged, and stolen baggage. Updates BMAS files with information pertinent to the claim. Provides appropriate airport information as required
- Monitors damage claims and makes settlements
- Coordinate the return of lost and damaged luggage to customers. Prepare bag delivery orders and arrange delivery using bag delivery services or other available means
- Process and secure unclaimed luggage, update BMAS, and create a BMAS on-hand record in SABRE. Coordinate on-hand bags, update BMAS desk requests, and contact passengers regarding unclaimed baggage
- Coordinate with Ramp services regarding bag deliveries and missing bags. Update records with late-arriving bag information
- Assist customers with Skycap requests
- Monitor baggage delivery and complete baggage delivery quality checklist
- Must be familiar with all FAA / Airline / Company regulations
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
