What You Will Be Doing :
We're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team within the Consumer Product Group , overseeing the development of key features and infrastructure for both our web and mobile platforms. The products you'll manage include the Coinbase retail app, advanced trade, dapps, and staking -all aimed at becoming the #1 self-custody wallet in the market.
- Lead a team of full-stack engineers , guiding the development of features, services, and infrastructure across multiple platforms.
- Coach and mentor your direct reports , supporting their career growth and driving a positive impact within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership-to translate the product vision into a clear, actionable roadmap.
- Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and lead the iterative design and implementation process.
- Be a technical thought leader , contributing to architecture decisions and fostering a culture of high-quality code and engineering excellence.
- Ensure the successful delivery and operation of multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale , working closely with both product and engineering teams.
- Recruit and build a team of exceptional engineers , partnering with our talent organization to identify individuals aligned with our culture and goals.
- Take ownership of processes that drive engineering quality and ensure that engineering SLAs are consistently met.
