- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize inventory and procurement processes.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Oversee inventory control and purchasing logistics to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Conduct branch visits and audits to improve purchasing efficiencies across multiple locations.
- Analyze procurement data to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Manage purchasing staff and work closely with the VP of Supply Chain Management.
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement management within the construction industry, particularly with exterior products and insulation.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and logistics operations.
- Experience in contract management and negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for managing complex data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across departments and manage a team.
- Ability to develop solutions that balance organizational needs with cost efficiency.
- Management experience is required—this is not an entry-level role.
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
