What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Representative position at GA FOOD SERVICE OF PINELLAS COUNTY LLC?
Route Delivery Driver/Field Service Representative
- Safe delivery of food items and supplies to customer homes/sites in a timely and accurate manner
- Vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
- Maintain food safety and handling procedures with compliance to temperature requirements
- Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly
- Maintain driver scorecard and other required recordkeeping
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain service records
- Check vehicle fluid levels and perform general routine inspection of vehicle to ensure all is in working order
- Assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components and/or supplies as required
- Regular attendance required to meet employer's attendance policy to ensure customer deliveries can be accomplished as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Valid Driver License (No DUI in last 5 yrs., 0-4 Current Pts.)
- Good Communication and Customer Service Skills
- General Office Equipment and Computer Experience
- GPS and Tablet Technologies
- Min. 3 years prior route delivery/distribution exp. preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Under 1/3 Standing time
- Walk, Climb or balance
- Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
- Taste or smell
- 1/3 to 2/3 Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and arms
- Over 2/3: Sit, See, Talk or hear
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Work is performed outdoors and inside a vehicle
- Regular exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
