GA Foods is hiring a Warehouse Worker for our headquarters location in St. Petersburg, FL.
The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for Responsible for performing warehouse duties and assist in warehouse operations in a safe, efficient and accurate manner.
Warehouse Worker Essential Duties:
Including but not limited to:
- Pull customer orders (frozen, refrigerated, dry)
- Operate forklift in a safe manner
- Conduct physical product inventories;
- Assist with departmental housekeeping
- Receive and inbound product/unload inbound product
- Ship outbound product/Load outbound product
- Complete and maintain paperwork and records as required
- Other duties assigned by management
Warehouse Worker Job Specifications and Qualifications:
- 2 years of sitdown forklift experience - required
- Pallet Jack experience
- It is required to work a full time scheduled shift (5:00am - 1:30pm or until shift change)
- It is required to work in a freezer,
- Able to work in the dry and Refrigerated Warehouses,
- Able to work in the Dock;
- Computer Experience including utilization of RFID scanning technology
Warehouse Worker Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift.
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves, but is not limited to: food debris, odors, constant equipment noise, temperature extremes, wet areas/water, or similar elements most of the workday.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, carry, pull, push, grasp, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks - primarily manual tasks - in a standing position for the entire shift.
- Under 1/3: Sit, Climb or balance, Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl, Taste or smell.
- Over 2/3: See, Stand, Walk, Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and arms, Talk or hear.
Weight Lifting/Exertion:
- Under 1/3: Up to 80 lbs.
- Over to 2/3: Up to 50 lbs.
