We are seeking a Packer - Food Production position who is a dedicated individual looking to work their way up at a growing company. The ideal Packer - Food Production candidate will have previous experience assembling and packaging meal components in a fast-paced environment. Our company serves and delivers catered meals to those in need such as school children, senior citizens, and military members. Great for candidates who are seeking longevity and opportunities for advancement in their career! Position will provide housekeeping support and other duties as required for daily (M-F) meal production.
Packer - Food Production Responsibilities:
- Attention to accurate counts and portioning
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Count and sort items with accuracy
- Boxing, lifting and stocking items.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (food safety) guidelines and hygiene practices
- Operate all equipment in a safe and timely manner
- Inspect the product at all stages to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Participate in equipment and area cleaning in a safe and timely manner.
- Participate in training programs.
- Other duties assigned by management
Packer - Food Production Requirements:
- Prior experience with Pallet Jack preferred, but not required
- Minimum H.S. diploma/GED
Packer- Food Production Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as machine operation, etc) most of the workday
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves, but is not limited to: food debris, odors, constant equipment noise, temperature extremes, wet areas/water, or similar elements most of the workday
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, carry, pull, push, grasp, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks - primarily manual tasks - in a standing position for the entire shift
The position requires that an employee be capable of the following:

- Must be able to read, write, and understand instructions, warnings, labels, and postings in English effectively
