Job Description
Safely perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment or structure of a production and manufacturing process/buildings.
- Schedule and manage preventive maintenance process
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.
- Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair and troubleshoot
- Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems
- Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear
- Read technical information needed to perform maintenance or repairs
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required. May train or supervise work of other maintenance or technical employees.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or any combination of education and experience.
