Summary: Plans, directs, coordinates, and troubleshoots manufacturing processes in industrial plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards
· Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
· Collaborates with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specification and quality standards
· Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
· Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential
· Apply lean/continuous improvement methods to manufacturing processes and facility.
· Provides pricing, timing, and develops manufacturing processes to support efficient manufacturing of new products
· Develops prints, work instructions, and other documentation required for operations
· Understands and conforms to applicable processes and standards defined by ISO, IATF, and the company’s quality management system
· Willing and able to learn machine setup and operation to facilitate process development and troubleshooting
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university in Engineering preferred. 3-5 years in manufacturing or industrial role.
Prior experience with and knowledge of tooling, CNC equipment and programming, and screw machine operations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Manufacturing software; CAD software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
