Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: The Medical Assistant assumes responsibility for conducting drug screens, vision screens, PFT screens, audiological testing and other testing as assigned, adhering to quality standards. The Medical Assistant documents appropriately in medical records and other clinic documentation, enters data into clinic databases, greets patients and responds to inquiries from employers and employees. Position Requirements: Licensure/Certification/Registration: CPR certificate required. Certificate from accredited institute for medical assistants is required. Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience: Must have at least one year’s experience working in a clinical setting. Recent college graduate with part-time work experience is acceptable. Must have basic knowledge of industrial health care, clinical practices, and understanding of worker’s compensation rules and regulations.
