Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Posting Job Description Position Purpose: CT Technologist in the Radiology Department at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Greensboro GA Sat/Sun 12 hr (9am to 9pm), with one 12 hr shift on Wednesday (9a to 9p) $10,000Sign on Bonus!!!! *Must have at least 1yr exp as CT tech to be eligible for sign on bonus. Will also work with Diagnostic Xray's as well. What you will do: Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients. Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings. Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats What you will need: Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered or registry eligible with ARRT Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
