Aviation Investment Analyst

Located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, GA Telesis is seeking an Aviation Investment Analyst to join our Leasing, Investment, Finance and Trading division (LIFT) at GA Telesis. The LIFT division specializes in the investment, trading, and leasing of commercial aircraft and engines, providing tailored financing solutions to airlines globally. This position involves analyzing a large volume of high-value transactions, with the successful candidate responsible for conducting investment analysis and supporting management in making critical investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial and investment analysis for aircraft and engine acquisitions, leases, and sales.
• Develop investment recommendations using structured finance principles, risk assessment, and exit strategies.
• Evaluate lease agreements, maintenance projections, and market trends to assess opportunities and risks.
• Partner with business development teams to structure, price, and prioritize high-value investments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast asset liquidity and valuation.
• Integrate technical, economic, and market intelligence into investment decisions, including fleet planning and supply-demand dynamics.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, OEM developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting the airline and air cargo sectors.
• Support portfolio management by tracking asset performance, optimizing monetization strategies, and providing financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamwork.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling, pricing, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume investment environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in financial analysis, investment underwriting, or a related role.
• Experience in the aviation industry or structured finance.
• Familiarity with golf is advantageous.
