What You'll Do (and Why it Matters):

• Be a Guiding Light: Provide personalized training, guidance, and unwavering support. Demonstrate tasks with clarity and patience, offer constructive feedback, and answer questions with genuine care.
• Unleash Potential: Break down complex tasks into manageable steps, making learning accessible and empowering. Adapt your approach to each individual's unique learning style and pace.
• Fuel the Fire: Create a positive, encouraging environment where every achievement is celebrated. Motivate individuals to persevere, even when faced with challenges
• Track the Journey: Monitor progress, identify areas for growth, and adjust training methods as needed. Regularly share updates with your supervisor, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with Case Managers and Job Developers to provide comprehensive, holistic support. Document progress and performance in our electronic records system.
  
  

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but your passion and empathy are just as valuable.
• The ability to communicate clearly, patiently, and with a touch of wit.

• Keep People Motivated: You'll create a fun and positive learning environment. You'll celebrate every achievement and encourage people when things get tough
• Track Progress: You'll keep track of how everyone is doing, find areas where they can improve, and change your training methods if needed. You'll also talk regularly with your supervisor
• Work as a Team: You'll work with staff in other departments to provide the best support. You'll also keep records of progress and performance on a computer
  
  

What You Need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license
• Experience working with people with disabilities is helpful, but being caring and understanding is most important
• You need to be able to communicate clearly, patiently and have a good sense of humor
• You must really want to help others succeed
• The ability to lift and move up to 40lbs
