Gabe's is hiring a full time Customer Service Representative in our Morgantown, WV office.
The Customer Service Representative provides courteous, professional, and efficient service and is the initial point of contact for customers via the CS hotline, email, web app, and other communication channels. This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, managing customer reward accounts, and providing answers to operational inquiries in a timely and professional manner. This position reports to the Manager of Associate & Customer Analytics.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Partner with store and field partners to resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service and support by utilizing strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Accurately record customer information and detailed interaction history in CS ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot customer reward accounts and provide semi-technical assistance for Gabe’s app.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform layaway courtesy calls to support operational needs.
- Respond to surveys, contacts from the corporate website, or other touch points as needed.
- Provide coverage and/or support to the Corporate Reception Desk as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude in all customer interactions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of pertinent company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a working knowledge of company products and associated brands.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with proper use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to handle unique situations and determine the appropriate next steps.
- Ability to operate a computer and phone system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Must have the ability to handle stressful situations, and diffuse tense situations with a calm and respectful tone.
- Must be flexible and able to adjust to different business needs and/or work on special projects as assigned.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, or holidays as needed.
