What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Marketing Intern position at Gable for NC?
Rep. Wyatt Gable's campaign for NC House-14 is seeking an unpaid social media intern to join the team over the summer. College students looking for an internship for credit hours are welcome, and we would be happy to work to accommodate. Interns would report directly to the campaign manager.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in creating posts for campaign social media accounts for upcoming elections
- Growing social media account following and views
- Creating digital advertising campaigns promoting campaign activities
- Photographing in-person campaign events
Qualifications
- Current or recently graduated college students with degrees in the areas of marketing, or political science preferred
- Experience with graphic design softwares (e.g. Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- Experience with popular social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, X, Instagram)
