The Superintendent is responsible for all site construction activities including all field and subcontractor personnel as required to successfully complete the project / work on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, coordinating all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. Maintains the job site office and closes out projects.
Coordinate and supervises construction activitiesCoordinates all field operations to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications as well as including any change directives / orders while maintaining client satisfactionMaintains construction schedule including short interval production schedules, identifies and solve problemsOrders materials and schedules inspections necessary throughout the projectUnderstands Project plans and specificationsMaintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employeesPrepares daily reports, safety reports, schedules, and supervises completion of a final punch listPromotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazardsEnsures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy & regulatory requirements, including storm-water complianceMaintains a clean organized job site, including the construction officeConducts weekly progress meetings – invites all tradesReviews job cost reporting and assists PM in maintaining budget controlReviews subcontractor scopes of work and provides feedback to PM prior to contract awardEstablishes staging plans and manages site logisticsCollaborates with PM in scheduling the critical path craft pre-construction meetings prior to mobilizationProvides feedback of reviewed submittals for compliance and coordinationResponsible for quality work being put in place – workflow for crafts, suppliers, employees and third party contractors.BACKGROUND PROFILE :
5 to 8 years experience heavy commercial or industrial constructionExperienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all phases of constructionExperience with Precast, tilt etc.This person will travel the state,MUST BE A HANDS-ON WITH STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS
