Summary
- Full second shift schedule: 3 PM – 11 PM
- Strong cross-functional support from quality, logistics, and leadership teams
- Streamlined plant with established safety and compliance procedures
- Preference for local candidates; relocation may be considered individually
- Run second shift operations across multiple lines, ensuring production goals are met without compromising safety or quality
- Manage four shift supervisors and oversee 90–100 team members to keep flow, productivity, and morale on point
- Work closely with the first shift team during transition to set priorities and review any challenges
- Monitor shift KPIs—output, waste, labor hours—and implement adjustments as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse and QA teams to maintain product integrity and schedule adherence
- Lead performance discussions and daily huddles; build a team culture based on trust and accountability
- Use ERP systems and reporting tools to track labor efficiency, downtime, and materials usage
- Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with all applicable food safety and workplace standards
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years managing production teams—preferably in a fast-paced or food manufacturing setting
- Experience leading multi-line operations with large hourly teams
- Strong communication and organization skills, with a calm-under-pressure leadership style
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to coach others, make data-informed decisions, and keep shift operations smooth and responsive
