We are searching for a Lead Project Coordinator with a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction, working directly for a General Contractor.We are seeking individuals who are determined, motivated, and intelligent when it comes to their construction projects and relationships (Clients, Subs, Vendor-Suppliers, Etc) in order to contribute to this company’s planned growth. The Lead Project Coordinator should have experience managing projects up to a size of $5 million, specializing in new ground up retail, office space, commercial, restaurants, shopping centers, and big box facilities.The Lead Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing project estimates and budgets, construction site operations, safety procedures, and leading projects with the superintendent in terms of scheduling, business development, customer relationships, and quality control.This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to teach others, and set high standards for the project management team and field operations team.Minimum RequirementsMust hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.At least 8 years of experience in Commercial Project Management, working on multiple projects (4-5) simultaneously with a value exceeding $1 million.Strong understanding of plans, project estimation, and extensive project management experience with a General Contractor.Excellent knowledge of sitework and building construction.Prior experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor is required.Skills and Responsibilities
- Must have experience with Build-Out & Ground-Up Commercial projects (mandatory)
- Strong background in Commercial Construction (Projects ranging from $500K to $5 MM)
