We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Manager to lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our MES platform.
The MES Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of MES with production processes, monitoring system performance, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience with MES systems, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage MES Implementation : Oversee the implementation and configuration of MES software to align with manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth integration with other enterprise systems such as ERP, SCADA, and PLCs.
- System Optimization and Support : Continuously monitor and optimize the MES for improved performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with production, IT, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure MES meets operational requirements and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
- Data Management and Reporting : Manage data flow within the MES, ensuring accurate collection of production data, tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), and generating real-time reporting for decision-making.
- Training and Support : Provide training to operators, technicians, and other relevant staff on MES usage, best practices, and troubleshooting. Offer ongoing support and create documentation for system users.
- System Upgrades and Enhancements : Stay up to date with the latest advancements in MES technologies, lead system upgrades, and recommend improvements to enhance system capabilities.
- Ensure Compliance : Ensure MES system adheres to industry regulations, quality standards, and cybersecurity protocols, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Project Management : Lead and manage MES-related projects, from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal impact on production operations.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Act as the primary point of contact for any MES-related issues, managing escalations and resolving technical challenges swiftly to avoid production downtime.
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in MES or a similar manufacturing IT role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Proficiency in MES system configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
