Senior Tax Manager/Director

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Tax Manager/Director to join our growing team at a Top 50 Public Accounting Firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a current Partner/Principal, Senior Manager, or Director with a proven track record in practice development and client service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a CPA or JD, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while fostering client relationships and driving business development. Qualifications

• CPA or JD required
• Proven experience in a Partner/Principal, Senior Manager, or Director role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in various accounting software
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated expertise in practice and business development
• 8-10 years of complex tax experience
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all client engagements, staffing assignments, and workflows
• Ensure the highest level of technical and professional competence in all work submitted to clients
• Supervise and mentor staff, managing performance reviews and professional development
• Manage client billing and receivables, ensuring timely collection
• Develop policies to increase productivity and revenue while maintaining team morale
• Cultivate and expand client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
• Represent the firm at industry and community events, enhancing firm visibility
• Engage in business development, networking, and marketing efforts
• Mentor staff in building client relationships and enhancing their business development skills
• Foster collaboration with key external partners to drive referrals and new business
