Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our job shop team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques, fabrication processes, and blueprint reading. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and other technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components.
• Measure and cut metal materials to specified dimensions using various cutting tools and equipment.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.
• Weld mild steel and stainless steel components according to project specifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fabrication welder in a job shop environment.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and tape measures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Welding certifications.
