Position Summary: The Project Manager oversees all activities of assigned residential remodeling production projects from transfer of signed agreement to completion. The position coordinates with areas of procurement, production and installation for both small- and large-scale remodeling/construction projects. The position will offer the opportunity to be part of one of the finest project management teams in residential remodeling. The Project Manager will coordinate production efforts with our highly talented sales and design team and will complete both hands-on and administrative duties overseeing multiple projects at once. Each day will bring different challenges and tasks in keeping track of schedules and project progress. S/he will communicate a continuous improvement and growth mindset and possess strong ability to interface with and successfully influence others.
Reports To: Production Manager
Supervisory Authority: The Project Manager shall assist in the success of the Assistant Project Managers as necessary in alignment with objectives to carry out the work and achieve the key results of the company. Such staff members are employees of Gabor Design Build and the Project Manger shall assist in delegating their duties and responsibilities held accountable for their performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with a determined project team to ensure understanding of the project scope and vision and feasibility.
Manage production process, from pre-construction through construction completion ensuring set schedule and accomplished productivity goals. Accountable for all projects delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Schedule procurement, production, internal installation and trade partners for all projects.
Complete regular job-site visits for support and to monitor progress, assess compliance with building and safety codes and any other regulations.
Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
Maintain standard construction methods and operating procedures, including company policies and procedures.
Audit all direct labor, trade partner agreements and material expenses tracking progress, minimizing exposure and risk.
Develop, estimate and process change orders.
Conduct on-site meetings with clients, internal installation team and trade partners.
Communicate regularly with the client and project team via verbal and written updates.
Source and establish relations with key trade partners negotiating labor and material costs associated with each job to align with budgetary targets.
Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts.
Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Associate degree or technical certificate in relevant field construction, construction management, engineering, architecture and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in construction and/or construction management; general contractor experience a plus.
Thorough understanding of construction materials, mechanical, electrical and plumbing building systems.
Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings and plan sets.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
Thorough knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety standards. OSHA 30 certification a plus.
Understanding of construction finance and measures of performance.
Solid ability to build relationships, to motivate, negotiate and persuade diverse groups and individuals.
Ability to manage conflict and crisis management.
Organizational and time management skills with the ability to shift priorities and deal with changing demands in an effective manner.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse audiences.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word, Excel and Outlook; experience in Smartsheet and/or other like software.
Strong work ethic and accountability. Positive attitude open to teamwork and thoughtful approach to management while holding people accountable.
High energy and sense of humor.
Valid drivers license, car insurance and reliable mode of transportation. Ability to travel locally.

Physical Requirements:
Frequently (75% to 100%) standing, walking, sitting, light lifting, light carrying, handling, speaking, hearing, seeing and typing.
Occasionally (up to 30%) moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, kneeling and reaching.
Evaluation:
The evaluation will occur on an annual basis and will be based on job description, previous assessment if applicable, strategic and financial performance of projects. The evaluation will be conducted, and results compiled by the Production Manager for discussion. A summary of the results will be provided to the Project Manager
