Job Summary: Study Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Study Coordinator to oversee and manage clinical trials at our research site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating study activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily operations of clinical trials from initiation to closeout.
- Screen, recruit, and enroll study participants according to protocol eligibility criteria.
- Obtain informed consent and ensure patient understanding of the study process.
- Schedule and conduct study visits, including collecting and processing biological samples.
- Accurately document study data in electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and maintain study records.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, IRB, and sponsor requirements.
- Communicate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and monitors to facilitate study progress.
- Manage study supplies, investigational products (IP), and regulatory documentation.
- Address and report adverse events (AEs) and protocol deviations as required.
- Participate in site initiation visits (SIVs), monitoring visits, and audits.
- Educate patients and site staff on protocol requirements and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, nursing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 1 years of experience as a Study Coordinator or in a clinical research role.
- Knowledge of clinical trial protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and patient databases.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and research teams.
