Store Floater
Job Description: Don's & Ben's Liquors is looking for a Store Floater. The Store Floater is responsible for filling in for any store staff including the store manager when the not present, includes coverage for: days off, vacations, illness, or prolonged absence. They perform all store level duties including some manager duties.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to travel to any or all retail store locations within the Omega Asset Group.
- Assist in the management of the store and staff.
- Open and/or close the store. Receive and process shipments.
- Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures.
Maintain a clean and orderly sales floor. - Greet customers and provide a fun experience for both customers and employees.
- Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions proper cash handling accountabilities.
- Maintain awareness of our products, merchandise promotions and advertisements
- Will manage any assigned store with the full responsibility of a store manager
Qualifications - Store Floater
- Must have valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean MVR, must have a current State registrations & drivers insurance coverage
- At least 2 years of retail management experience with knowledge of store operations.
- Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission Certification – Required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
- Must be able to move throughout all areas of the store including the outside perimeter.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift or move 40-to-50-pound items and stand for extended periods of time.
