Gabriella Charter Schools is composed of two high-performing, dance-themed charter schools in the Los Angeles community. GCS 1 serves grades TK-8 and is located in the community of Echo Park. GCS 2 serves grades TK-8 and is located in the community of Historic South Central.

Job Summary
The Dance Teacher is an instructional leader who helps each student grow to meet his or her full potential as a dancer. Working in collaboration with classroom teachers, RSP teachers, electives teachers, and school administrators, the Dance Teacher designs and implements a rigorous dance curriculum to meet grade level / genre dance benchmarks. Not only does the Dance Teacher design instruction to enhance students' dance technique / vocabulary, but they also build students' confidence in displaying their work to an audience, enhance students' creativity and collaboration amongst dancers, and build connections between dance and other aspects of learning both inside and outside of the school.
