- Assists with new product inspections, special projects, and lab testing including updating hours for lab machines.
- Processes test specimens in the test lab; unpacks new tests and prepares initial documentation; mounts and exposes the test specimens into the test chamber;
- reviews testing samples at specified intervals; takes digital photographs of test specimens.
- Creates test documentation and updates spreadsheets and reports; maintains log sheets; performs evaluations and creates daily progress reports.
- Maintains all lab equipment, in particular the lab UV, and Salt Spray machines per maintenance schedule including Q Fog Booth with saltwater as needed.
- Works with daily calendar to perform scheduled tasks; calibrates sensors in QUV booth.
- Consult, communicate, and provide recommendations to Design and Operations teams, as necessary.
- Creates and maintains a finish panel library.
- Assis with Quality Alerts and Quality Chargeback procedures.
- Understands the Returns Process and aids the Quality Assurance team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ISO 9001 certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
