General Purpose and Essential Duties:
The Vice President of Transformation and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for driving and leading the overall transformation strategy within Guardian, focusing on business process improvements, technology integration, and organizational change management. This senior leadership position involves overseeing a team of project managers and business process professionals to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. The Vice President of Transformation and Strategic Initiatives aligns transformation goals with Guardian’s vision, fosters innovation, and ensures that processes and systems evolve to improve efficiency, competitiveness, and customer experience.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Partner with executive leadership to identify, define, and prioritize strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals and market opportunities.
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives to ensure delivery of measurable results and value.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of strategies, projects, and initiatives.
- Develop and present reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and outcomes of strategic initiatives.
- Foster a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Project Management Office (PMO):
- Establish and lead a centralized PMO to standardize project management processes, tools, and governance across the organization.
- Ensure projects align with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines while delivering measurable ROI.
- Drive project portfolio management, balancing resource allocation to prioritize high-impact initiatives.
- Mentor and coach project managers to enhance delivery outcomes and organizational capabilities.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve project success rates.
Project Management:
- Oversee the successful execution of enterprise-wide projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve escalated project challenges.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to foster collaboration and ensure project success.
- Continuously refine project workflows and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Solutions Development:
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative business solutions that address critical organizational needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze business challenges and opportunities, translating them into actionable process and technology enhancements.
- Ensure alignment of solutions with strategic objectives, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology tools and vendors.
Transformation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation roadmap to modernize systems, processes, and customer experiences.

Required Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives from conception through execution, delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing and mentoring diverse teams.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Deep understanding of transformation frameworks, emerging technologies, and change management.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Monday.com) and transformation platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, or similar field.
- 10 years of experience in a transformation program driving value management, organizational change, and process improvement
- 5 years people and process leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with CRM implementations, technology solutions, data, modeling, and optimization tools.
