Regional Manager of Operations - Construction

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with corporate goals and drive regional growth. Identify new market opportunities and lead initiatives to capture them
• Project Oversight: Monitor and manage all construction projects within the region, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality benchmarks
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, site supervisors, and support staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for regional projects. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and financial targets are met
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with projects and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and drive improvement initiatives
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on regional operations, project status, and financial performance to senior management
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in construction operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel within the region as needed
• OSHA 30 Certification is a plus

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
• In-depth knowledge of utility construction - HDD, aerial, and fiber pulling and splicing
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
