Job Title: Recruitment & Community Outreach Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Recruitment & Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for driving in-person and event marketing efforts to engage and recruit potential participants (clients) for our programs. This role is focused on lead generation with the ultimate goal of maintaining steady enrollment and high attendance rates across our services, in compliance with our grant contracts.
The Recruitment & Community Outreach Coordinator will work directly with the Programs leadership and Marketing teams to identify areas of need, strategize, plan, organize, and execute recruitment activities, ensuring that the individuals and families within our service area who can benefit from our programs are aware of the services we offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify, attract, and engage potential participants through in-person and face-to-face marketing efforts. Gather contact information and other relevant data from leads for follow-up and enrollment processes.
- Outreach Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and maintain a calendar of recruitment event opportunities where target audiences gather. Collaborate with Marketing to develop a system of methods and tactics for increasing success in recruitment.
- Event Coordination: Organize and execute recruitment events held at various community spaces, schools, fairs, and other venues. Coordinate volunteer staffing, logistics, and material preparation. Ensure the success of each event by maximizing lead collection and engagement.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, elected officials, organizations, schools, and other community leaders to create opportunities for ongoing recruitment and outreach.
- Data Management: Accurately document lead information collected during events and ensure it is entered into our database in a timely manner for follow-up.
- Follow-Up: Work with the enrollment team to ensure effective follow-up with leads gathered during recruitment events, converting leads into enrolled participants.
- Staff Training: Train staff members who participate in recruitment activities on best practices for lead generation and community engagement.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track recruitment activities, leads generated, and enrollment conversions. Report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts and recommend improvements where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, customer service, resource management, project management, marketing, communications, community engagement, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in community outreach, recruitment, or marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or service-oriented environment.
- Bilingual required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Passion for networking and community building.
- Comfort working in a self-directed environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Experience with data entry and lead tracking systems is a plus.
- Absolutely must have multicultural competency, awareness, and experience.

Salary: 55,000.00
