Responsibilities

- Help with evening admissions when needed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care needs.
- Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Oversee sterile processing procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Educate nursing staff on best practices related to tube feeding and anatomy knowledge.
- Facilitate training sessions on eClinicalWorks for efficient patient management.
- Assist in lifting patients safely, adhering to proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Back-up med cart nurse as needed.
Experience
- A valid nursing license with proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong background in skilled nursing preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and eClinicalWorks software is advantageous.
- Experience in sterile processing techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting patients and operating medical equipment safely.
